Franchise
Meetings, Conventions, and Conferences
Utopia Experience plans and produces annual conventions for franchisors and multi-brand platforms. Planning, hotel negotiation, registration, sponsorship, AV production, and video, under one accountable team.
Your gathering should grow the brand. If owners leave the same way they came in, it didn’t do its job. We plan and run franchise conferences that bring owners together, strengthen their connection to the brand, and send them home ready to grow.

We Speak Franchise
It’s not one event. It’s an awards ceremony, a reunion, and a strategy meeting stacked into a few days, and each one has to land. Every franchisor wants the same thing from convention: owners who leave fired up, reconnected to the brand and each other, and already planning to come back next year.
You’ve run this before. So have we.
- Recognition → This is the emotional high point of the whole event, and the most important thing it does: it recognizes the owners who poured a year of hard work into their business. Franchisee of the Year, Rookie of the Year, the reveals owners wait all year for. Change up the theme each year so it never feels like a rerun, give them a reason to dress up, and make it a real occasion.
- Education → Big announcements, new initiatives, and sessions built for who’s in the room. Your newest owners, and your multi-unit veterans need different tracks. Franchisees want to learn from each other, not just from corporate.
- Culture → The reason they come back. This is where owners remember why they joined the brand. The mission, theme, offsites, and networking with peers that gets people talking to each other. A convention that feels like a manager meeting is one nobody wants to repeat, so we help build in the formats that make it worth the trip:
- Offsites — a night out that gets owners bonding, building community
- Gamification— playful, interactive sessions
- Speed networking — more connections, more growth

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. A lot of conventions have fallen into “same old, same old,” same agenda as last year, owners half-watching from the back. We fix that by building real peer-to-peer time into the agenda instead of tacking it on, and making the content and production worth staying in the room for.
We understand that bringing multiple brands together comes with a unique set of challenges. You’re balancing different identities, audiences, teams, and priorities while still trying to create one cohesive experience. We help bring those pieces together while making sure each brand still feels special.
If you’re consolidating separate conventions into one for the first time, we can help you structure and stage the experience so it doesn’t become an operational nightmare. Whether you’re bringing together a few brands or 10+, we help make the experience seamless from strategy through execution.
If you’ve worked with someone for years, we understand there’s a real relationship there, and we won’t pretend it’s comfortable to do. Before you cut ties, get clarity on what’s already committed on your behalf (venue holds, signed contracts, deposits) so nothing falls through the cracks. Then hand it to us. Send whatever you already have (past event photos, run of show, surveys, registration data, vendor contacts, budgeting docs, etc.) so you’re not stuck catching us up from scratch.
If it’s helpful and everyone’s comfortable, we’ll coordinate with your outgoing planner directly to transfer details, so you’re not stuck relaying messages.
We can’t promise a number, and you should be careful with anyone who does. What we can do is look at what you’ve done before, your agenda, your format, how you’ve promoted it, and find where it’s falling short. Then we bring your team into creative sessions with ours to build fresh ideas together, and help you put them to work.
Your room block, the hotel contract, maybe the rate. It’s a valuable piece of the planning process, but their focus is the venue, not the full event experience. Everything that happens once owners walk in the door is still on you.
Local transport, local vendors, offsite activities in that destination. The catch: they’re tied to a place. If your convention moves cities every year, the relationship resets each time.
